About the Day

How fast does a river flow?  What creatures live in the river?  Where does the water come from?  Find out the answers to these questions and more on a Rivers Day.

Rivers Days are targeted at Key Stage 2.  They offer an excellent opportunity to take learning outside so that the children can discover more about their local environment.

The programme is designed to last a whole day but half day visits can be arranged if the school does not want to do all of the activities.  Please contact our Education Officer  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   on 01768 866788 for more information.

Many of the outdoor activities are designed for six groups of children and we recommend that each group is accompanied by at least one adult.
