About the River Rover
Explore the river environment, finding out what lives beneath the water. View giant sized river invertebrates using our high powered camera and take a fish eye view of the river through our underwater camera (when conditions permit).
The River Rover is a mobile classroom primarily targeted at Key Stages 3 & 4 and meets some of the objectives for Science and Citizenship. It provides an innovative way of bringing the river into the classroom or taking the classroom to the river!
The programme is designed to be flexible, lasting anything between a single lesson to the whole day.
